Camp@Apple-6 “Photobooth”

June 30th, 2006 · Comments Off

This is a fun program! Think of the carnival’s “House of Mirrors” where your features are distorted! Also, you can do different types of artsy effects, for example, ala Andy Warhol prints. Must have iSight though…
Will a USB camera work? I really don’t know. I have been trying to find a way to get my [...]

Check out this program! I think it’s a good AND simple program for teachers and other presentors. What it does is it transforms your cursor into a spotlight and then darkens the background.

Camp@Apple-2 – “Of Butterflies and Other Web-based Research”

March 26th, 2006 · Comments Off

This is a cool suggestion from Adrian (our Camp@Apple who is a high school teacher in Singapore who is smiling right at you!). The MIRACLE of “Inspiration”

March 11th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Very interesting class we are having today on blogging. I have been blogging for a couple of months now and am very happy with the few features I am using. Discovering a New Handheld/PC Need…

March 11th, 2006 · 8 Comments

Yesterday, our 8th graders used the handheld, for the first time, to type in their Bill proposals. A lot of them were very excited and amazed by the capabilities of the handheld. So there they were, merrily typing away, until it was time to go…
Only one of them finished and was able to print her [...]
